At Golden Steps Day Care Center, we understand that leaving your child in someone else’s care is a big decision. That’s why we have created a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children can feel secure, loved, and encouraged to explore.
Our Day Care program provides more than supervision. We give young children opportunities to play, discover, communicate, socialize, create, and develop essential early-life skills while receiving attentive and compassionate care.
Every day at Golden Steps is designed to balance care, play, learning, rest, nutrition, and exploration in a way that respects each child’s individual developmental needs.
Our Day Care Approach
Young children learn through everything they experience.
A conversation with a caregiver can develop language. Building with blocks can develop problem-solving. Singing can develop memory and communication. Playing with another child can teach cooperation and sharing.
Our Day Care program therefore incorporates learning naturally into everyday experiences.
Emotional Development
We help children understand and express their feelings while developing trust, security, empathy, and healthy relationships.
Language and Communication
Through songs, stories, conversations, games, and everyday interaction, children are encouraged to communicate, listen, and express themselves.
Cognitive Development
Age-appropriate activities encourage children to observe, remember, classify, compare, recognize patterns, and begin solving simple problems.
Creativity and imagination
Art, music, movement, storytelling, pretend play, and sensory activities allow children to explore their creativity.
Physical Development
We provide opportunities for movement and active play that support coordination, balance, strength, and motor development.
Independence
We gently encourage children to participate in age-appropriate routines and begin developing confidence in doing things for themselves.
